Job Title & Summary
Senior Merchandiser for German market
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
# Define product requirements with clients and assure smooth and clear communication
# Locate, evaluate and assess suppliers
# Submit financial entries in accounting sytem (POs, Supplier Bills, etc.) for accounting approval
# Conduct on-site quality controls
# Prepare & arrange bulk and sample shipments with forwarder and oversee timely deliveries
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED.
# At least 5 years working experience in a sourcing- or trading-company – ideally serving international markets
# Product experience with PU bags, fashion jewelry, packaging or displays / POS material or gifts would be a plus
# Diligent, detail- and result-oriented with the ability to multi-task and take the right decisions
# Able to quickly learn new production processes and build material know-how
# Fluency in Mandarin and excellent English skills (written and spoken)
# Well-organized, structured and reliable
# Willingness to travel inside China (about 3-5 days / month)
